Subject: Bogie Pup owned by Shanon and Rich Hastings, usa

Hello, my name is Joanne McCleary..I have been in the sport of dogs for over 40 years.  I bred and raised Dobermans and Shepherds.  My last shepherd was retired from the obedience ring undefeated.  I also am a retired vet tech, animal control officer and have been training dogs for many, many years.  I worked for the ASPCA in Manhattan, NY as a behavioral consultant and specialize in hard to handle dogs. I have seen it all.  Shannon Hastings came to visit my daughter this weekend and brought  Bogie, a beautiful pup she purchased from you.  I am writing to tell you how impressed I am with your breeding. Not only is this an outstanding representation of the breed, but his temperament is outstanding.  Shannon wanted him to be "socialized."  I have four dogs of my own  (Weimeraner, Pug, Jack Russell and Min Pin.)  I also have cats, birds, guinea pigs, and rabbits.    While curious, he does not back down, is totally social and just loves everyone. He was totally safe with my foster kittens.  Shannon and her Husband Rich, run and swim this pup miles each day. It shows. He is fully muscled. What a pleasure to have such a wonderful pup at my home.

Being a breeder, I know how much it means to hear that you have done well.  Shannon wants to bring him here to me some weekends so that I can work with him.  I have an agility course and teach puppy kindergarten for the Warrenton Kennel Club here in Warrenton, VA.  I cant wait to work  with him.

I hope this makes your day.  Congratulations on a wonderful breeding.

Subject: greetings from Erin and Tesla!
To: balla.irene@gmail.com

Hello. I have not spoken to you in a while so I just wanted to let you know how Tesla is doing.

She is a wonderful dog and is very healthy. She gets lots of time to run every morning.

The most exciting thing is that she is being trained as a service dog. She is so smart and easy to train, that she is whizzing through her training. She already has public access (for training purposes) and is a few months away from being a fully certified service dog.

When she is finished training, she will accompany me everywhere to help mitigate a disability that I have. She is being trained to act as a guide dog because this is something that I need her to do on occasion. She also knows lots of other tasks that help me to live a more normal life.

Don't worry, she also gets lots of time to play and have fun.

I just wanted to thank you for allowing me to take her because I know that you wanted to keep her for breeding. She is the best dog I could imagine, and her training school is amazed at how fast she learns. She is making a huge difference in my life and I am blessed to have found her.

Later, I will send you some photos of her working and playing so you can see how she is doing.

After she is fully certified, I will send you some photos of her in her uniform. You can post them on your website if you like, because people might like to know that your dogs have the rare and very valuable temperament and intelligence required to be trained as guide dogs and other service dogs, like those who help people with hearing and mobility problems.

She is a very special dog, and she is very happy.

Thanks again.

Hi Irene,   Just wanted to say hello and thanks so much for being such a loving and caring breeder.  We had a good and easy drive home and Makos sat on my lap - happily for him and for me - the whole way.  He is a pure delight, loves to play and  is easy going/comfortable with himself and me.  Clearly he has had a good beginning to his life.   We seem to be bonded already.  He follows me everywhere and  slept with me in my hammock last night.   This morning we went and played in the park.    HE has not had one single accident!
This morning we will head up to northern Michigan until early September and he can play on the beach and in the water!!  I will not have any e-mail there but will be in touch when we return to Ann Arbor and report on the little boy.    My best to you,   Marlene Ross

Update on Marlie:  It has been a week now and our lives have completely changed for the better.  Marlie went to see the vet yesterday and had an excellent check up, her vacination, worm pills and her ears cleared of hair.  We are still working on the housebreaking part of the training but she is walking on a lead really well and playing fetch with us.  She loves to play with toys but she also likes to curl up in my lap especially early in the morning while I have my coffee and read the paper.   We are starting to see her personality develop a little more each day.   All of the children in the area love her and she is tolerent of them although still quite shy.  Thank you again for giving her such a great start.  I have already told several people about your wonderful kennel so hopefully some business will come your way over the next while.

Hello Irene,
just a few pics of our long tailed gal Fiona. She is a wonderful member of
our family and of all the golf course. She spends all day with me on the
golf course and we have not seen a goose on the property for months now. She
is very active, as you can see by her slim figure, and takes every chance
she can to play in the water or in the pastures surrounding the golf course.

Kyra was the more powerful puppy in the litter. She was 5 weeks old ,. when she took away the dead heavy bird from her litter mate. She is now 2 years old and active hunter"
